Legacy senior pitcher/first baseman Chase Shores was named District 2-6A Most Valuable Player by the league’s coaches on the All-District 2-6A Baseball selections just released.
Three other Rebels were named to the first team in junior catcher Casen Yonts, senior outfielder Carson Lauderdale and junior outfielder Andrew Prado.
Odessa Permian senior and Midland College commit Xavier Melendez was named Offensive Player of the Year and senior teammate Peyton Gregory was the Defensive Player of the Year.
Newcomer of the Year went to Wolfforth Frenship sophomore Hudson Hutcheson, while Frenship junior Ryland Morin was named Pitcher of the Year.
